FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions
Who sends in the work?
Parents and teachers often send in the work on behalf of the children, or children themselves with parental permission.
Are children outside the UK eligible?
Yes, all children around the world are eligible!
What kind of pieces of work do we email in to the site?
Any work that children have done on their own and feel proud of, probably outside school, for example a picture drawn in the holidays, a story, a poem. Scanned images or photographs of models/creations are also very welcome.
Is it acceptable to send in schoolwork?
If the teacher agrees, then yes. If it is work that children have already had back or marked, we would recommend that you mention it to the teacher.
Are there any prizes?
Yes - we offer prizes for competitions and certificates for all entrants' work.
Can I send in several pieces of work?
Yes, as long as the child's first name, year group and home town is given with each piece.
Will my email address be kept private or will I receive junk mail (SPAM)?
To protect their privacy only children's first names and, if they wish, their home towns are published.
Your email address will not be given out to any other individuals or organisations and your privacy as a child, parent or teacher will be fully respected.
Why aren't Music and Sport on the subject list?
Music and Sport are essentially practical areas and we do not presently have the facilities, such as music and video downloads, on the site. However, if there is a demand for these subjects in future we will see if it is possible to fund them.
